At the early age of 16, Daniel Nolan worked as an apprentice for Chef Ralph Speka at The Metropolitan Place Hotel, a five-star, five-diamond hotel located in the heart of Dubai. Upon completion of his 3-year apprenticeship, he pursued a degree in Culinary Science at the Academy of Culinary Arts. Always eager to learn, Daniel received his Food Safety Manager's certification.
Prior to joining Bliss last year, Daniel served as executive chef for high volume restaurants and fine dining establishments. Daniel has developed his own passion for food and interest in cooking by traveling to different regions of the world including the Mediterranean, Middle East and South East Asia. His theory is “cooking is the art of life.” Bliss Restaurant was named one of the top 20 new restaurants by Esquire Magazine, and was voted as one of the 50 best restaurants by Philadelphia Magazine. Bliss features an upscale menu with Modern American cuisine.
