Locke’s food career started just out of high school working pastry and baking. After attending the Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 1975, he spent a number of years working in restaurants and hotels in New York, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Shortly after moving to Philly in 1988, Locke discovered the wonderful world of off-premise catering.
Since then, he has been the executive chef at a number of catering companies in Philly, spanning more than 20 years. Locke is currently at Catering By Design, a multi-faceted high end catering company serving clients throughout the region.
