Mona James, a Baltimore native, began her love for culinary arts at a very young age. She attended Baltimore International College where she received a Baccalaureate of Science in Culinary Arts. Her career began at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, where she quickly advanced to sous chef. She joined the Palm family in 2008 in New York City and became executive chef of the Philadelphia location in 2012. Mona's sensational culinary skills awarded her second place on the Food TV Network "Chopped."
