Focusing on the positive aspects of living gluten-free while being heart healthy, Anne will:

About the Panelist:
Anne LeeAnne Lee, MSEd, RD, LD, is the Director of Nutritional Services for Dr. Schar USA. Previously, she was the nutritionist at the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University, where she was involved in patient care and research. Her research has resulted in published articles on the effect of a gluten-free diet on the quality of life, the nutritional adequacy of the gluten-free diet, and the economic impact of a gluten-free diet. Most recently, she collaborated on a study on the cross contamination of inherently gluten-free grains.

Anne has been a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for many years and has reviewed the chapters on celiac disease for the Academy's online nutrition care manual. She is also a member of the Academy's Gluten Intolerance Work Group that developed the Gluten Intolerance tool kit.

NFCA webinar logoContinuing Education Credit: Registered Dietitians (RD) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR) are able to participate in this live 60-minute webinar to obtain CE credits regardless of this program's approval status as long as the webinar is professional in nature. NFCA will provide a certificate as proof of participation for each webinar. Attendees must complete the program evaluation/follow-up survey in order to access this certificate. Program participants will receive a link to complete the program evaluation/follow-up survey 24 hours after the close of the webinar through an email from GoToWebinar.
