University of Alabama Medicine’s Digestive Health Center (Birmingham)

UAB Medicine’s celiac disease center is the only one in Alabama and the Deep South. It combines expert physician care with innovative clinical and translational research, including studies of non-dietary therapies. We see patients with both confirmed and suspected celiac diagnoses, as well as those who are resistant to treatment or with refractory sprue. Phoenix Children’s Celiac Disease Clinic (Phoenix)

Phoenix Children’s is the only hospital in Arizona to offer a dedicated celiac disease clinic for children and teens. Our pediatric gastroenterologist and registered pediatric dietitian both have celiac disease and are passionate about helping kids adapt to a gluten-free lifestyle and live life to the fullest. They see about 450 children with celiac disease every year.
