On May 25, 2012, Chase Field hosted a Gluten-Free Night at the Ballpark in support of Celiac Awareness Month. In a night filled with gluten-free hot dogs, nachos, and pizza, the ballpark did its part to continue getting the word out about celiac disease and the medically necessary gluten-free diet. A portion of the proceeds earned from the awareness night benefited NFCA. Darin Alpert, chief operating officer and partner at Find Me Gluten-Free, shared these photos from the event:
On July 20, 2012, NFCA will host its own Celiac Awareness Night at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. This awareness night will also be equipped with gluten-free food and drink. A free raffle will take place at the game and prizes include a Phillies gift basket and two tickets to Appetite for Awareness, NFCA’s Gluten-Free Cooking Spree taking place this September.
