Peter Bronski Finds His Rhythm

NFCA Athlete for Awareness Peter Bronski

NFCA Athlete for Awareness talks about finding the rhythm as he prepares for his next ultramarathon.

With more than 610 trail miles run so far in 2012, NFCA Athlete for Awareness Peter Bronski is ramping up his training for his next ultramarathon, the Finger Lakes 50s Ultramarathon.

Each weekend, Peter picks a day to go for a long, uphill run in preparation for the ultramarathon. On Sunday, June 3, he was able to complete a 22-mile run with a 2,500’ elevation gain in just over 3 hours at about 9 minutes per mile.

In a training update on his blog, No Gluten, No Problem, Peter talks about “finding the rhythm,” a realization he had while taking on the 22-mile uphill run. He presents his interesting take on the rhythm of life, running, and living gluten-free.

In just a few short weeks, Peter will be running the Finger Lakes ultramarathon. His following run, the Virgil Crest 50-mile Ultramarathon is in September and will be benefiting NFCA. You can show your support for Peter’s awareness efforts by donating to the cause and following his blog.
