Illinois Woman Hosts GREAT Kitchens Gluten-Free Training Contest

5/6/2014

As someone living with celiac disease, Dana Mancuso understands how vital safe gluten-free food preparation is for her health.  After receiving the Celiac Awareness Month edition of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) newsletter, Dana came up with an idea to help increase gluten-free options in her hometown.

NFCA’s newsletter announced a special discount offer for GREAT Kitchens, an online gluten-free training program for foodservice professionals.  Throughout May, NFCA is offering GREAT Kitchens training for half-off when restaurants use the coupon code 50%GFDine14.  After seeing the announcement, Dana decided to host a free drawing with the winner receiving GREAT Kitchens training at her expense.

Illinois restaurants who are interested in GREAT Kitchens gluten-free training can enter to win by emailing Dana at DanaMancuso@Yahoo.com.  Dana will draw the winner on May 20, 2014.

NFCA deeply appreciates Dana’s efforts in helping us raise awareness of gluten-free needs across the country.  Thank you, Dana, for being a community hero!

Additional information on the discounted training offer can be found here.

Discounted Pricing:

Restaurants who utilize the coupon code 50%GFDine14 will receive training for the following prices:

  • $50 for the management training course
  • $25 for the standard training course
