WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SELL PACKAGED PRODUCT
To sell in the city of Philadelphia, vendors must file for a business privilege license and a net profit tax license. Forms can be filed online at www.phila.gov/revenue. Go to the business taxes section
and click to register. Vendors also must file with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for a business privilege and sales tax. These forms are also available online at www.revenue.state.pa.us. Vendors must fill out their own forms and can close their account at the conclusion of the event accounting if they wish. The vendor is solely responsible for these filings and for complying with state and local requirements.
All vendors are responsible for the PA Sales Tax (8%), if applicable.
