Women's Health & Fitness Expo

 

Nancy Ginter, Director of Operations at the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA), will join Linda Freeman, President of the Hudson Valley Celiac Support Group, in a panel discussion titled "Celiac Disease and the Gluten-Free Diet" at the upcoming 11th annual Women's Health & Fitness Expo.

The Women’s Health & Fitness Expo was started in 2000 and has become the largest event of its kind in New York State. Thousands of women attended the 2010 Expo and even more are expected this year.

The 11th Annual Women’s Health & Fitness Expo features:

  • Over 150 booths and exhibits
  • Over 20 free health screenings
  • Seminars and workshops
  • Healthy Food Court with cooking demos and samples from area chefs
  • Ongoing exercise and fitness demonstrations
  • “The Doctor is In” booth, featuring private consultations with specialists
  • Art gallery
  • Book signings by noted authors
  • Spa treatments
  • Complementary disciplines (aromatherapy, stress reduction techniques, etc.)

The Expo will feature a panel discussion with The Biggest Loser participants, chef demos including Chef Jahinger Mehta, a book signing with renowned dietitian Keri Gans, and more.
