The Celiac Awareness Tour is heading to Philadelphia. This special event includes the opportunity to sample and shop gluten-free foods from dozens of national brands; meet medical, culinary and celiac experts; watch live cooking demonstrations; and enter to win raffles and prizes.
Alice Bast, Founder and President of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA), will attend the event and lead a talk on "Restoring Health. Reclaiming Lives." NFCA will also have a booth at the event.
Chef James Harris, who completed gluten-free training through NFCA's GREAT Kitchens program, will prepare a special gluten-free menu during a demo for the Philadelphia Gluten-Free Ravioli Pasta Company. The company is a member of NFCA's GREAT Business Association.
