Special publication highlights celiac disease advocacy, research and gluten-free holidays.
A new celiac disease informational supplement hit newsstands this morning and will continue to be circulated throughout the weekend. Titled “Celiac Awareness,” the special insert can be found in issues of USA Today in New York, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco and Denver.
Whitney Ehret, Director of Communications for the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, authored one of the articles in the supplement: “Raising happy, gluten-free kids.” Other articles include a foreword from Dr. Alessio Fasano, an interview with actress Jennifer Esposito, and a spotlight on the Gluten-Free Food Labeling Summit organized by 1in133.org last May.
