Celiac Disease Awareness Needs You!

Our dedicated volunteers, generous contributors, and involved community members are key players in the NFCA’s success. There are several ways you can get involved! Baking gluten-free cupcakes with friends, hosting a community fundraising event, distributing informational brochures to your local medical professionals, or assisting at one of our fantastic events; your time is sincerely appreciated and put to good use!

If you choose to contribute financially, your dollars will be put toward one of our many programs, including our Athletes for Awareness blog, physician training sessions, gluten-free cooking sprees and gluten in medications educational sessions with pharmacists. Your gift will help the NFCA accomplish many goals as we continue to restore health and reclaim lives!

Donate

NFCA will be the cornerstone for funding awareness, education, screening and treatment for Celiac Disease. Your support will provide the funds to make all of that happen. You can make a difference!

Volunteer

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness truly values its volunteers! Nearly 700 people from all parts of the United States are helping the NFCA raise awareness of celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. Whether they are hosting cupcake parties or distributing the “Do I Have Celiac” brochures, they are the single biggest factor in the success of our national awareness campaign.

Community Fundraising

Community events are not only a lot of fun, they are a great way to reach out to a larger audience than private events allow. By creating an event that is appealing to the general public, you will have an opportunity to teach others outside the celiac community about the disease and achieve maximum attendance. We have supported (and even hosted!) several community events and have had amazing feedback. This is a guide to get you started and we are here to help you along the way!

Advocacy Corner

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness invites you to join us in advocating for celiac disease through the legislative process. NFCA's Advocacy Chairman, Geoffrey M. Roche, is a community and government relations professional who has served in various forms of government in Pennsylvania. Geoffrey will be managing the Legislative Advocacy Plan for NFCA and he will be calling on all of us to raise awareness of celiac disease through legislative advocacy.
