At the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA), we know there are a lot of things that can be frustrating about living the gluten-free lifestyle. While things are improving, many news stories still equate “gluten-free” with a fad diet, not all areas of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) gluten-free labeling rule are straightforward, and restaurants are still learning about safe gluten-free food preparation.
But, in true NFCA fashion, we want to take a look at the positive side.
Our goal is to generate positive conversation with our community and remind everyone of the people who do understand and do support us on our gluten-free journey.
All you have to do is Share the Love.
Sharing the Love is Easy! Simply...
- Submit a story about the person you want to thank for being there for you as you navigate your gluten-free lifestyle. We'll add it to the new Stories of Gratitude page on CeliacCentral.org.
- Submit a photo. It can be of the person you want to thank, a picture that represents them or a picture of yourself saying "thank you" in your own way. Get creative! Feel free to include a caption. We'll share it on NFCA's Facebook page and in a dedicated board on Pinterest.
E-mail your submission to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 26 to ensure your submission is shared with the community.
When you do, you'll be automatically entered for your chance to win an NFCA swag bag! Once your submission is posted, be sure to share it with the person you are thanking! Keep an eye on NFCA's Facebook page for announcements of new submission postings.
